No, you aren't. It's probably just another routine burp from a backup.

Nope. I'm seeing them at Fidotel.

    From 1999!

I haven't seen any from that year. The ones I've received from that address are dated May 14, 2010. I only keep messages from this area for three days and
    they are then deleted.

    From 1999!

I haven't seen any from that year.

These messages end up in my BAD folder and I review them before deleting them. I thought for sure one of them was dated then.

I checked that too, although I wiped it out a couple of weeks ago, but of the ones that are new arrivals, 80% are from May-November of last year.

Saw a few of them in DEBATE the other day, don't rememeber the dates.

Just got nine more, all dated December, 1999, save for one, which
seems to be a conglomeration of perhaps 15 or 20 messages in one
    from the FIDONEWS echo.

Of the 8 messages now residing in my bad_nessages folder, half of them are gated from newsgroups dating back as far as 5 years ago. The few in this echo are addressed to fido.alaska, so those are newsgroup messages, too, although they are recent.

I asked Ross to ask 14/0 to fix his system so that this doesn't
continue. He said that he disconnected that system until he gets it
    fixed.

Yeah, I read that. I believe he subsequently reinstated that system.

Because the system that was causing the problem was a downlink of
    14/0.

And does he know who it is?

    Hello, All!

I talked to Bob Seaborn regarding this, he also brought Ross into the loop, I also emailed Janis about this and action has been taken, I asked that the sysop
to have a message sent to him to fix his system.
