For some reason, the "Nodelist" and "Recent Callers" features are not working.

Check out the US 99 menu above for links to information about US Highway 99, after which the US 99 BBS is named.
Be sure to click on the Amateur Radio menu item above for packet BBSes, packet software, packet organizations, as well as packet how-to's. Also included is links to local and some not-so-local Amateur Radio Clubs.
1. Support for sending mail packets uncompressed. This is an option in some other packages.QWK networking, perhaps? ;)
2. Support for editing file descriptions in the file database.
3. Support for literal IPv6 addresses in the mailer; currently IPv6 is only supported if a node has an AAAA record when the hostname is resolved.
Andrew
I am working on a couple of things for MBSE in my spare time, so if
anyone has any requests, please let me know.

in some other packages.

MBSE can already do this.
Mbsetup, Node setup (7), Choose a node, General Setup (1), Pack mail
(12) needs to be set to no.
My system hasn't been compressing packets for the past year.
Another concern I had with MBSE is that (when I ran MBSE) I spent a
lot of time in mbsetup, mostly just correcting typos or just looking
things over. When I entered certain areas of mbsetup the status in the
upper right corner would change to busy or closed even if I was just
looking around. I think it would be better if MBSE just reread it's
config if and when it needs to do that rather than closing the BBS and mailer down when I am probably just looking around the config.
That's just my $0.02. :)

Well got to find some things for keeping me busy now that I am retired !

Hmmm... Don't know how I missed that one. So what's missing is the ability for nodes to activate that option via an AreaFix request.
That should be easy to add.

Yes.
What I would like to see is "Pass-through" echomail area's.
I had a quick look at 1.0.4 a couple months ago and noticed a problem
with the chat server. I had just installed MBSE so maybe it was a misconfiguration of some sort but if I pressed 4 (I think, roughly
anyway) from mbmon the chat window didn't come up fully and I couldn't
get back to mbmon so I hit "<ctrl> c" and that crashed mbtask. I hope
I've explained that in a way you can understand.
