When I go to send a netmail message, I don't get prompted for a node address, and when I DO go to send an address in username@node format, Iget
a message back from Maximus saying that it cannot find the user. Is there something I am missing in my msgarea.ctl file by any chance that iscausing
this issue?

this sounds like you don't have the area specified as
netmail... it isn't asking you for the address which
means it thinks it is a local or echomail area... when
it says it cannot find the user, that's also an
indicator that it is looking internally... i don't know
what the settings are as i don't currently have a max
system installed here...

Ok, I will have to go back and see what adjustments I need to make
since I am able to read netmail properly, just not send it.
what it writes are netmails so yeah, they'll be OK ;)
what's your config line\section for that area look like?

Ok, now to just find out what will compile v7 nodelists under OS/2 natively and then go from there. Will look around in all the usual
places :)

FastLst has always worked fine for me under OS/2.
